Newspapers and magazines
A print newspaper article cites the journalist, the headline in single quotation marks, the newspaper in italics, then the city and date in round brackets, then the page. Online articles swap the city and page for an online marker and a URL. Rule 7.11 governs news, and magazines follow rule 7.11.3.
Press releases
A press release cites the body, the title in single quotation marks, then the release type, any release number and the date in round brackets. Rule 7.4 applies.
Speeches
A speech cites the speaker, the title in single quotation marks, then a description with the occasion and date in round brackets. Rule 7.3 applies. Where the speech is published online, add the URL.
Film and television
An episode or film cites the episode title in single quotation marks, the series title in italics, then the version, studio and year in round brackets, then a timestamp pinpoint. Rules 7.14.1 to 7.14.3 apply.
Radio and podcasts
Radio broadcasts and podcasts follow rule 7.14.4 with the same shape. Episode in single quotation marks, program in italics, broadcaster and date in round brackets, and a timestamp.
